Our first Autodesk Inventor (CAD) course is coming this June!

We are excited to announce the first Autodesk Inventor CAD training this semester. The training will take place over two full days (29th and 30th of June) for researchers who would like to get skilled in using 3D modelling software (CAD). This course is best suited for beginners and will take you through step-by-step instructions on how use Autodesk Inventor.

The major topics taught are introduction to the interface, creating part files, sketching, assembly of multiple parts and engineering drawings. Here is a short summary of the course timeline:

This is a great opportunity for researchers to learn CAD skills. Even more exciting is that once you’ve learned the design process you can start 3D printing your designs! 

You will be required to bring your own laptop and have Autodesk Inventor installed before the event. Please read the information on the event registration form (regarding what to bring) BEFORE registering for the event.
