4 Days of Data Wrangling with Survey Tools & Spreadsheet

Hi everyone !
Getting and cleaning data tends to be the most tedious part of research, however sometimes it’s just unavoidable. How imagine if there were tools to help you get and clean your messy data. Research life would be so much better!
To help with this, Research Platforms Services will conduct two (yes, two!) back-to-back trainings spaning across four days.
The first training is about getting your data using survey tools . You will learn how to get your web survey out using Google Forms and mobile data collection using Kobo Toolbox . The second training is about cleaning up messy data . You will learn about how to keep your spreadsheet data clean and we will try a tool called Open Refine to help you inspect, identify, and clean messy data. Please note that these trainings are currently in alpha version. This means that training materials are currently under continuous development. Expect things to change and evolve dynamically during the training session.
