Introducing our newest platform for recognising the amazing talents, contributions and skills acquired by our diverse, and fast-growing, #ResBaz community. An innovative way to show off your data prowess on your resume, LinkedIn & beyond!
How does it work?
The idea is that your contributions will be recognised through collecting a series of badges as you complete some key #ResBaz milestones - all of which are made publicly visible on your own #ResBaz profile.
Wanna jump on board?
First, click through to our ResBaz Digital Community landing page and identify yourself with one of the following streams:
- Data Wrangler (Python, R, MATLAB & other data analysis)
- Humanist (Natural Language Tool Kit, Social Media, Surveys, Spreadsheets)
- Data Vizards (Data Visualisations, including D3js, CartoDB, TileMill & more to come!)
- CADventurers (All things 3D - modelling, slicing, printing!)
Each of these streams has their own tab on the landing page. Now simply ping the first person on the tab that corresponds to your self-identified stream and they’ll send you an email with instructions to get you up and running!
These instructions will include: sending your photo, information on the tools you’re currently using, and whether you’ve already achieved some #ResBaz milestones - so we can start firing badges your way!
This page is also great platform for discovering your Research Community Coordinator & other community experts, who’ll be able to give advice on which tools best suit your needs as well as setting up a one-on-one consultation at our weekly #HackyHour!
