Fill the ResBaz 2016 Global Survey !
Are you curious about what kinds of data that researchers all over the world uses ? Or you might be curious in finding out what kinds of next generation digital research skills that are trending now?
We’re curious too.
To help answering those questions, we’re conducting the Research Bazaar (ResBaz) 2016 Global Survey ! The global survey is part of the ResBaz 2016 Conference program to find out regarding what kind of technologies, digital skills, and data that researchers in the world are using right now. Not only that, after we have the answer we’ll share it back to the community - that are you, researchers - as an open data that you can use for your research purposes.
Why open data ? In ResBaz, we believe in the power of the community. We believe that the keys to enable modern research outcomes are openness & collaboration, and we think that one way to encourage that is by going open with our survey data. We’re asking this survey to the research community and in return we want to give back by making the data easily accessible, usable, and shareable by other researchers in the world.
However, we need to get the data first before we can share the data. Therefore we want to ask you, the research community, for your help. There are several things that you can do :

- Help spreading the survey by emailing, tweeting, facebook posting, water cooler chat, instant messaging, or any other methods of communication that you prefer to as many people as possible :)
- Please note that the ResBaz 2016 Global Survey also acts as a pre-assessment survey for the ResBaz 2016 Conference. However, you can fill out the survey even if you don’t want to attend the ResBaz 2016 Conference (however, the conference is a great event if you want to learn next generation digital research skills ! see more here : http://melbourne.resbaz.edu.au/ResBaz2016)

We’re currently in the process of releasing the data for the ResBaz 2014 survey. Since the data contains some personal information, we want to make sure that the data will be anonymised properly before it is opened. Stay tuned in this space for news regarding the ResBaz 2014 survey data !
